Deposits
 | Do you need
a deposit to hold my reservation?
Yes, $350 per cottage for a 5-7 day
stay and $100 per cottage for a 2-4 day stay. Deposits are due
within 5 business days of making the reservation and can be made by
check or credit card.

 | What if I
need to cancel? If we are able to rebook your cabin, in
the same manner you reserved it, you'll get you deposit back minus a
$75 cancellation fee. If we cannot rebook it, regardless of when
you cancel, you will not receive your deposit back. |
Minimum

 | Do you have
a minimum stay? Yes, 3 nights from Father's Day Weekend
to August 18, 2012 and two nights the rest of the year.

 | How do you
schedule weekly stays? During our Peak Season
(Father's day
to August 18) our weeks run Saturday to Saturday. We do have
"Short-week" stays which means you can stay 3 nights or 4 nights
between Saturdays.
Example: a
3 night
stay - arrive on Saturday & depart on Tuesday or
a 4 night stay - arrive on Tuesday and depart on Saturday. Minimum 3
night stay.

 | How do you

 | What are
your check-in/check-out times?
Check-in is after 2pm and check-out is 9am any day. However, if
there is no one checking into your cabin or out of your cabin on the
day you arrive or depart, then check-in/check-out can be negotiable.
Call or email to inquire. In the off-season
(October-May), our check-in
and check-out times are extended to
1pm check-in and 5pm check-out.

Pets
 | Are pets allowed?
We allow only pet dogs with a
maximum of 2 dogs per cottage.
We
have a charge of $45/wk or $7/day per dog. Guest must present
current shot records at check-in.

liable for all actions and/or damage caused by your pet.)

Extra persons
 | Is there a
charge for extra people in a cabin?
Yes, extra people of any age over the base rate for a cabin
are charged only $10/night.

Can we have day guests and is there a charge?
Guests must notify management, in advance, that they will be expecting
visitors and provide names at the office. All guests AND
Visitors must register in the office. Visitors who come just to visit
for the day are free. If they choose to stay overnight in your cabin
with you, they pay the extra person
nightly charge of $10/person (again, only if it exceeds the base
rate of that cabin). |
Fishing
licenses/groceries/laundry
 | Do you sell
fishing licenses and bait? What about groceries? Laundry facilities?
No,
we don't sell licenses, bait or groceries, but two stores within 2
miles from the resort do. There are two small town grocery stores
(Motley and Randall) about 10 minutes away and larger supermarkets 30
minutes away. We have laundry available in the office. |
Boat launch/pontoon/boat info
 | Do you have
a boat launch at the resort and is there a charge to dock my boat? No,
we do not have a boat launch, but the paved public access is just a
mile up the road. We provide docking, at no charge, for one boat
per cottage. There is a charge of $25 per boat for additional
boats you wish to bring.

 | Does
a boat come with the cabin?
Yes, any watercraft without a motor is free for guest use--row
boats, canoes, and paddleboats. See the Water Equipment page
for
motors.

Do you have pontoons?
Yes, we have 3 pontoons. Guests that stay a full
week will have 4 hours of pontoon use
at no charge except for gas and tax. Guests that stay less than
a week will have 2 hours of pontoon use
at no charge except for gas and tax.

 | How
many boats or cars can each cabin have?
Boats: our dock system can only accommodate 1 boat per cabin. Cars:
There is room for 2 vehicles by each cabins. We also have parking
available in other areas of the resort, if needed. |
Camping
 |
Do you have camping?
No, We do not have camping sites. Fish Trap Camping and RV resort is
only 1 1/2 miles from our driveway. |
