At SweetWater
We have an organized activity each morning Sunday - Friday for kids ages 3-99.  Activities include, making sun catchers, bug boxes, pencil holders, neck warmers, sun visors, design t-shirts and pillow cases, face painting, and play games.

Located on the outskirts of Little Falls, this park offers quiet picnic grounds and 7 mi of scenic trails. Eagles, hawks and owls can often be seen along the river and in the surrounding forests. Across the street on the banks of the Mississippi River is the boyhood home of the famous aviator, Charles A. Lindbergh, 38 campsites; 15 with electric hook-ups. Boat access to Mississippi River. The Minnesota Military Museum was established in 1977. Nowhere in Minnesota are the experiences of military men and women so vividly captured and interpreted for the public as at this Museum. Indoor and outdoor exhibits depict the stories and contributions of Minnesotans who served in all branches of service, in time of peace and war, from Minnesota's early years, through the World Wars, to the conflict in the Persian Gulf, and today.

Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge is 1,825 acres of tall grass prairie, oak savanna, and wetlands with dense strands of wild rice. It inhabits one of the largest nesting populations of greater sandhill cranes in Minnesota. Bald eagle, northern harrier, short-ear owl, great blue heron, and blue-winged teal are just some of the other birds that can be seen. Also, look for beavers, minks, muskrats, and Blanding's turtles, fox, coyotes, and badgers.
